I am guessing this is yet another company. So maybe that is the biotechnology company. It is confusing. But it also says on the website that

"Currently, Dr Hodkinson keeps in touch with pathology as the Executive Chairman of Bio-ID Diagnostic Inc., a private company commercializing patented technologies in DNA diagnostics."

Also I can find no way of accessing public records in Canada to ascertain who is telling the truth about the chairmanship.

Yes but the issue is how do you determine who is telling you the truth?

He is not saying their is no bad illness out there. He is saying the reaction to it is over the top.

Most of us here have been subjected to Watchtower's clever play with words (to get people on board with their way of doing things) and understand the types of pressure puts on speakers to give out a particular message.

Ultimately what identified Watchtower as a misleading media organisation was - their words did not reflect what was in the Bible, senior members spoke out (Ray Franz), their history was proved faulty, ever changing doctrine, irrational ideas, gagging those who spoke out and gross immoral activity covered over.

I expect others can add to that list.

On this web page he claims to be Chairman of a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons committee in Ottawa.

THe Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada says that it is not true. He was never such a chairman.

The man gave both his name and his qualifications. The qualifications indicate to me that he is a high-level medical professional who must be speaking with above average knowledge (even for a medical profession). He explained that he is involved in COVID testing and said that the vulnerable should be protected.Therefore he agrees there is a nasty illness out there but the reaction to it has been extreme. He said it is politics playing medicine.

If he is a crack pot what other things has he been involved in that show this? His name is in the YouTube. He is not hiding.

The principle in this scripture can be rolled out to assess medical professionals at all levels.

In this video Ali shares a recording from Dr Harkinson. He is a medical specialist in pathology and virology, trained at Cambridge University, UK. He is the ex-President of the Pathology Section of the Medical Association. Previous to this he was Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine doing a lot of teaching. He is Chairman of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (in Ottowa, I think he says) and he is currently the Chairman of a biotechnology company in North Carolina selling a COVID 19 test.

He says all this is a hoax. It is politics playing medicine and we should go back to normal tomorrow.

i`m thinking of times when the jw organization has been hypocritical in their beliefs / practices .

they make sure they are no part of christendom in any way shape or form ,the understanding the r&f have of the organization.. the r&f members are not to have any dealings with christendoms religions in business or otherwise.. but what does the jw organization do ?

they sell watchtower property to christendoms churches for profit .. the r&f are to be separate from the world and call the league of nations and it`s successor the united nations the counterfeit kingdom of god ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of god ?.

I know of one Catholic cleric who has never even heard of the word disfellowshipping. He had to go and look it up, even though his relatives are JWs - who themselves have just been booted out.

Excommunication (not communicating to someone) is the Catholic term and it is not used on ordinary Catholics just high level Catholics - whatever that means.

I remember a power elder, heavily involved with the building of Bristol Assembly Hall, UK say to me in KH library, "we just want your money." I thought he was joking because this was the exact opposite of what I had been told in my Bible study.

I had only been in for about 3 or 4 years when he said that to me. He is still in now. I'm not. I got kicked out.

They say they are just like Jesus and encourage questions. For example, rather than telling his disciples who he was, Jesus asked them.

(Matthew 16:13-17) . . .Now when he had come into the parts of Caes‧a‧re′a Phi‧lip′pi, Jesus went asking his disciples: “Who are men saying the Son of man is?” 14 They said: “Some say John the Baptist, others E‧li′jah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them: “You, though, who do you say I am?” 16 In answer Simon Peter said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 In response Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Jo′nah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but my Father who is in the heavens did.

So - yes right Jesus was honest and allowed others to identify him from what they were observing.

Well, when was the last time you saw a question in a Watchtower study saying, "who do you think the Governing Body are?"

And if there is such a question I bet the answer in the paragraph does not read, "they are a bunch of lying, stinking toe-rags." And if you were to answer as such (maybe using less colourful language) you would be in danger of being put straight into their catapult.
